The Beaufort Region Environmental Assessment Monitoring (BREAM) Program was established to provide the technical basis for a comprehensive environmental research and monitoring program for oil and gas activities in the Beaufort Sea. The Program combined and coordinated the efforts of the Beaufort Environmental Monitoring Program and the Mackenzie Environmental Monitoring Program and involved governments, industry, Northern Aboriginal and co-management organizations.
