There currently exists a breadth of information related to the Beaufort Sea, but this resides in a number of different sources and formats. Activities conducted under the BREA are also expected to generate new information, all of which needs to be managed in such a way that it is accessible to all BREA stakeholders.
The Information Management Working Group will develop a coordinated management system that will make BREA information available as well as link to existing and historical sources of information.
The BREA Data and Information Management Policy (0.5Mb, PDF) was developed to ensure that data and information produced as part of BREA are accessible to stakeholders.
BREA metadata and data will be available through the Polar Data Catalogue.
BREA reports will be indexed on the Hydrocarbon Impacts database.
